I will probably be linked to some tutorial that could've also been found through a 72-sized arial link from the front page but my question is:

How can I use these files and how can I convert them for my fx-9860g to use them? I see that .g1a files are extensions and they can be found on the calc's main menu but how about these other files.

Thanks in advance.

E: lol, my status actually probably describes my question pretty well.

.g1m and .g1r can be but onto your calculator with the FA-124 program. (Search on the left where it says downloads). If you are having trouble with that find your tutorial (upper menu in the middle). There's something about .cat files there as well. g1m and g1r are for basic programs on your calculator, g1a is for add-ins. .cat is from older models I believe.
I have no idea what the last one is.

Ok, but how do I find these .g1r and .g1m files on my fx-9860? I only know that .g1a can be found on the main menu.

This makes me sound pretty newbie (I guess) but in pc world I can even build by own operating system from scratch which is just worth mentioning Laughing .

.g1r and .g1m should be put on main memory and found on the PRGM menu.
