Everyone,
How do I graph the difference between two functions? (subtract one from the other? I can do that in the main menu, but not the graphing menu. We just started this today in Calculus II.
Ex. y=X^2 & y=x on the closed interval [2,3]. How do I graph that area?
I searched and read the tutorials and read the manual (again), but I couldn't find the information that I need.
Thanks in advance!

Err... do the difference? The difference between X2 and X is (X2-X). Type the first function between parenthesis, type the "-" and type the 2nd function between parenthesis. It's that simple.
To change intervals press F3 for view-window.
Or if you really need to let the calc do the difference you can type function in Y1, type function in Y2, type Y1-Y2 in Y3, uncheck Y1 and Y2.

Dysprosium, thank you for the information. I'm doing something wrong, or have an incorrect setting somewhere, because I get an error message when I try to subtract Y2-Y1. I have a CP330 and a FX-9860 GII. I like the shading of the CP330 better.
I can do the subtraction, but I'd like to see the difference between two functions shaded.
I don't have F3 because this is a CP330.
Thanks again.

Oh, I don't have a classpad, sorry. But in the GII you have to use the special character Y (F1 while typing), not the letter.

I finally found the answer! It's listed under "Storing Functions" on page 3-3-11 and 3-3-12.
